In reviewing all the photos I took this past year I discovered, I have much to learn as a photographer. One of my goals is to take a few classes so I can fully appreciate my camera and all of it's capabilities. I'm just scratching the surface with this photography stuff. There's so much to know. So much to learn. I did however, want to point out, which photo I think is the best- from an artistic standpoint. I feel like I kind of nailed the bokeh thing (a term used in photography blog/circles for a subject being seen clearly with background subjects slightly blurred for effect....or something like that- see I need the class.) Anyhow, this photo somewhat captures this- and it was purely accidental!
I present- my best (in my opinion) photo of 2009-

I was going for the cocktail- but I got the bruschetta and the dessert in the background with a bit of bokeh...(I know real photographers are cringing...) I love that there's a book on the counter- that is clearly seen- but it wasn't my intention to capture that part of the image. And look- you can see the condensation on the glass.... Ok- enough said - it's my fav...what do you think?
