Last week we celebrated another year of dance lessons completed. 38 weeks worth of lessons in Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop and Lyrical- 120 hours spent practicing. The recital was over in 3 hours. 3 hours of running back and forth changing costumes, fixing hair and makeup and rushing out to watch the performance. Their moment in the sun to capture the best they can do for that routine. It was a good night. Not any real mishaps- just lots of fun, laughing, excitement, lipstick, hairspray and glitter!
Youngest in her Tap number with friends K and F. They tapped their hearts out....to a classic Abba number- "Mama Mia." I'm still hearing that song in my head.
Yo, Yo Dog- to the Hip to the Hop....
Aren't they pretty in purple and "all that Jazz"..?
Girls just wanna have fun....and fun they had!
The girls look fantastic! All those costumes, all those dance routines: I am sure they are glad it's over as well. Dance recitals are like Thanksgiving Day dinner, aren't they? All that prep and then over in a flash. At least with dance recitals you don't have any dirty dishes!
